I currently play on the US Eldre’Thalas PvE server.  My first ever character was a Druid and I never looked back.  I think I read something about ”picking the character class that sounded most interesting to you”.  That couldn’t have been better advice as I love the versatility and fun of playing Amanna.

I have been a feral Druid from my first talent point and love it.  I don’t enjoy full time healing so I’ve never headed that route.  I’m intriqued by Moonkin form/Balance and may respec sometime just to try it out.

Like many of you I would guess, I do have a few alts in the closet.  I’m currently leveling a Shaman, who is in his 30’s.  I’m not sure exactly why I enjoy him so much, other than his versatility, much like us Druids.  I also have a Warlock and a Mage - both great fun to just stand back and let loose.  They are both lower levels around 20 or so.

I belong to The Ebon Myth guild, having just recently joined (3/08).  They are a fun, laid-back, helpful guild with Kara and Gruul on farm.  I haven’t raided with them yet, having just joined, but am looking forward to it.

My interest in creating this blog were really just to try blogging out and have some fun.  At the time I started, I was one of only a couple druid blogs in existence.  I never realized it would grow so much, and I’m glad so many people have found useful information here.

My main contribution interests are summarizing pertinent research as shortcuts for your gameplay (e.g. gear lists, quest overviews, etc.) and general observations on what it means to be an effective feral druid.  With the rise of several great feral blogs, written by players who understand game mechanics in much more depth than I do (or care to research), I’ll leave the theorycrafting and number-crunching to them.

With recent life and WoW-related events, my play time on Amanna has greatly decreased, so I haven’t had a lot of exclusive feral or raiding content to write about.  As such, I’ve added Wordpress-related information to this blog, in addition to basic UI and add-on information.
