Good luck with your run tonight! I have a pair of runs lined up for the weekend. I’ve poked my nose in Kara 4 or 5 times now, downed a bunch of bosses, and have yet to get a drop. Hopefully things go better for you!

I’ve found that for a druid who keeps 2-3 sets of gear, there are a stack of drops in Karahzan. It’s got to the point where I’m embarrassed how often it is leather. Good luck with Zeirhuts and the Gloves of Dextrous Manipulation - I think all our rogues and druids have those now.

I have good news and bad news:
Good - Usually there are at least two random epic drops while clearing to Attumen, Moroes and Opera. One of which is Zierhut’s Lost Treads.
Bad - Besides random world drops, there are no LW patterns in Karazhan that I’ve seen.
How is your guild progressing in there?

Good luck, Amanna. Is this your guild’s first run through Kara or are you guys veterans there? If the latter, what bosses are you going to be tackling?

It looks like you are under the 415 Defense mark. I suggest running down to Caverns of Time quick and picking yourself up the tanking helm enchant. I think it will help a lot. (Unless of course you have some tanking trinkets that aren’t showing on your armory page right now)

Hey, thanks for the comments everyone.
As far as my guild - if you remember from past post, we are kind of a casual guild, meaning we do raid end-game content, but we’re definitely not hard-core raiders. Our normal raid schedule is Wednesday through Friday, currently one group and members are allowed to participate in as many nights as they want. It’s all just based on who shows up from the “official” signup list. If we need fill-ins, then invites go out to the alternate list.
Sooo…. that being said, the Kara group has been running for around a month or two at this point. They haven’t got all the way through, but it sounds like Attunmen, Moroes, and Maiden are close to farm status. I think they are just to figuring out Opera. So I’m hoping for a good run through at least the first 2-3 bosses and some PHAT LEWT!
As to the defense, I’ll have to check my Armory page. Last I checked in game, my defense was at 412, so only 3 points under what I should have. Not revered yet with KoT for the enchant.
Depending on when we end I may post something tonight, or tomorrow at the latest.

On the defense issue, probably what I’ll do for tonight is take Flask of Fortification (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=22851). I was planning on two elixirs, Elixir of Major Defense for an armor bump (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=22834) and Elixir of Master for a stats bump (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28104), but I’ll just stick with the Fortification flask. Persists through death, good health bump along with defense, and I don’t have to hear any griping from anyone about my defense rating if there are problems.
